Watermelon "Ultraearly".
An ultra-early ripening variety that bears fruit well even in northern regions. 66-80 days from germination to fruiting.
The fruits are round, dark green, with barely noticeable dark stripes, weighing 2.5-4.5 kg. The pulp is granular, red-raspberry, very sweet and juicy, with small seeds.
Value of the variety: high yield, resistance to anthracnose and powdery mildew, unpretentious cultivation.
The purpose is universal.
Sowing seedlings in early May. Planting seedlings in open ground at the end of May - beginning of June, in the phase of 3-4 true leaves. Planting pattern 100x100 cm. In the southern regions, it can be grown by direct sowing in the ground in April - May. When grown under film covers, plants are formed into one stem (all side shoots are removed to a height of 50 cm, subsequent ones are pinched over 1-3 leaves) and tied to a trellis. For good growth and abundant fruiting, plants need timely watering, regular weeding, loosening and fertilizing with mineral fertilizers.
